Providence Hall Classical Christian School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Providence Hall is a classical Christian school located in Edmond, Oklahoma. The school began in 2004 and is currently seeking accreditation by the Association of Classical and Christian Schools. Grades PK - 12 are offered. Providence Hall is the only classical Christian day school in the Oklahoma City metro area.

The school's mission statement:

The mission of Providence Hall is to assist parents by providing a challenging classical educational experience designed to help students become learners for life in the light of God’s Word; to recognize truth, beauty, and goodness according to Biblical standards; and to prepare them to live purposefully and intelligently as servants of the Lord Jesus Christ for the benefit of man and the glory of God.[1]

Providence Hall's statement of faith is distinctly Reformed and holds to the Westminster Confession of Faith, but the school's faculty and students represent other traditions within orthodox Christianity as well.

The school's campus is currently located on the premises of Heritage Presbyterian Church. The school is independent of the church and is run by a ten member board. Mrs. Kaye Wilson serves as Head of School.
