Prototypes are an indie rock band from France.
The band comprises Stephane Bodin (bass, synths), Isabelle Le Doussal (vocals), and François Marche (guitar). In 2006, a song from the band's U.S. self-titled debut album, "Who's Gonna Sing," was featured in an advertisement for the Apple iPod Shuffle. Their song "Je ne te connais pas" was featured in a Mitsubishi Outlander commercial along with an BMW 1 Series tv commercial in Germany in 2007 and in an episode of The L Word.
