Protect America, Inc. is a privately held home security equipment and service provider that services all of the United States.

In 1992 Thad Paschall founded Round Rock, TX, based Protect America, Inc. Since 1992, Protect America has been providing state-of-the-art home security systems to American families in all fifty states.

Protect America started as a small home security provider and has become one of the fastest growing security companies in America. To date, Protect America, Inc. has protected over 240,000 customers and is ranked by SDM Magazine among the top 10 residential home security system installers based on volume. [1]

The company has a unique approach to the home security marketplace offering consumers the ability to obtain cutting edge technology which includes a new Broadband Monitoring Service which allows customers to have their GE security systems monitored through a direct connection into their high speed internet router. [2] This new technology is not available from ADT or Brinks and offers a solution for those consumers who do not want a landline phone but still want to have a monitored home security sytsem. The down side of this however, is that it is easily disarmed by cutting the wire and if done within the first minute of entry, it will act like a false alarm and will not call dispatch. Another unique aspect for a national home security company is that Protect America offers home security monitoring service to both homeowners and renters throughout the United States. Most companies only offer security to homeowners. [3]

Protect America's main competition includeds the nation's two largest security companies, ADT and Brinks.
