Protathlitis (Greek: Πρωταθλητής) is a Greek daily sports newspaper, usually the second biggest of the ten sports papers in the country. The name of the newspaper is the Greek word for champion. It was first published April 2, 1998. The owners are a TV presenter and journalist Themos Anastasiadis and another journalist, Sotiris Poulopoulos. The newspaper is a strong supporter of Olympiacos F.C..
