Prostitution in Iran is illegal and can incur the punishment of stoning by the vice police. Prostitution as well as other social ills such as drugs has increased over the past decade. The Iranian government has considered regulating the profession in order to combat this vice.[1]. Iran is considered a tier 2 country [2]
