From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are currently nine known prostaglandin receptors on various cell types. Prostaglandins bind to a subfamily of cell surface seven-transmembrane receptors, G-protein-coupled receptors.[1]

These receptors are named:

The names of these receptors correspond to the prostaglandin that they bind (e.g., DP1-2 receptors bind to PGD2).
