Prosotsani (Greek: Προσοτσάνη, formerly Πυρσόπολις - Pirsopolis) is a municipality and town within the municipality located in the western part of the Drama prefecture in Greece. The 2001 census reported a population of 11,215 inhabitants for the municipality, and 3,937 for the town.[1] A local attraction is the cave at the source of the Angitis River, located at the village of Angitis in the municipal district of Kokkinogeia.
