Proneomenia quincarinata is a mollusc related to the chitons, endemic to New Zealand. It has been found at depths of between 15 and 240 m off Lyall Bay, Wellington, and at the Chatham Islands.
The animal is worm-like, up to 52 mm in length, with small slit-like ventral openings at each end, and five longitudinal ridges run the length of the body. The radula has paired single-cusp central teeth and 19 weak lanceolate laterals. Its colour is yellowish-pink.
