The first three seasons in polish first division were difficult for the newcomers. Despite many roster and coach changes the team failed to advance to playoffs. The greatest success during that span was winning Polish Cup in 2000 under new hired coach Eugeniusz Kijewski.

The 2000-2001 season was another step ahead for the team which won again Polish Cup and in the first playoff appearance finished third.

In the next two seasons they played in league final losing both times: in 2002 to Śląsk Wrocław 1:4 and in 2003 to Anwil Włocławek 2:4.

Since 2004 the team is unbeaten in Poland winning four straight finals beating in 2004 Śląsk Wrocław 4:1, in 2005 and 2006 Anwil Włocławek 4:2 and 4:1 and 2007 Turów Zgorzelec 4:1.
