Prokletije (Albanian: Alpet Shqiptare, Cyrillic: Проклетије) is a mountain range in eastern Montenegro, south western Kosovo and northern Albania. Its highest point is Jezreca and the tallest peak in the entire Dinaric Alps, at 2694 m. Other peaks include Gjeravica in Kosovo at 2656 m.
Various natural parks exist or are planned in the Prokletije [1].
Its name is Serbian (= "the damned" (plural)) likely refers to their rugged and inhospitable nature.
