Project Runway Australia is a future reality show based on Project Runway. Fashion Designers will compete by making specific garments for specific challenges. All contestants appearing on the show will be designers residing in Australia. The show will feature Kristy Hinze as the host, and Sarah Gale, and Jayson Brunsdon as judges.[1] Henry Roth will act as a mentor to the contestants, similar to what Tim Gunn did in the American version.[2] It begins production in May, and will premiere on Arena on July 7, 2008. [3] The show will be running against other fashion related shows including Australia's Next Top Model and Make Me A Supermodel (Australia).[4] The fourth season of Project Runway is currenty airing in Australia and has gotten the most viewers out of all four seasons. Its number of viewers had increased 57 percent since season 3 had aired.[5] It will be shown on Arena, which has been re-branded after Bravo, the first network to air Project Runway.[6][7]
