[edit] Plot summary
The film begins where the original television series finishes, with the alien ALF on his way home, when he is caught by the Alien Task Force (ATF). ALF is kept under lock and key in military custody, and is scheduled for execution by Colonel Milfoil (Martin Sheen), the leader of the ATF. Two officers, Dr. Rick Mullican (William O'Leary) and Dr. Melissa Hill (Jensen Daggett), decide to rescue ALF, but the scientist to whom they take him wants to reveal him to the world, which puts ALF in even more danger than he is already.

[edit] Trivia
Trivia sections are discouraged under Wikipedia guidelines. The article could be improved by integrating relevant items and removing inappropriate ones. |
- This is a sequel to the final ALF episode "Consider Me Gone" (1990).
- The Tanner family's absence was explained as them being relocated to Iceland. According to the commentary on the DVD, there was supposed to be a scene where a helicopter drops off a crate in Iceland, and Willie Tanner runs out of the igloo that he and his family are living in to collect their monthly rations, located within the crate. However, Tom Patchett and Paul Fusco felt that this was more of ALF's show this time around, and thus we only hear about what happened to them.
- The lady who played Dr. Carnage (Beverly Archer) also played Mrs. Byrd, one of the neighbors, in a few episodes of ALF. In fact, Beverly Archer was the only actress from the show ALF to return in the movie (even though Mrs. Byrd never met ALF), only in a different role.
