Progress and Freedom Foundation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Progress & Freedom Foundation is a U.S. market-oriented think tank based in Washington, D.C. that studies the digital revolution and its implications for public policy. Its mission is to educate policymakers, opinion leaders and the public about issues associated with technological change, based on a philosophy of limited government, free markets and individual sovereignty.[1]

It is funded in part by the digital media and communication industry. [2] It is rare among non-profits in that it chooses to disclose its corporate sponsors on its web site.
