Programmable Scale A new generation of scale indicator has come out called a programmable scale. Programmable scales are offered by all the major scale manufacturers. The easiest way to describe a programmable scale would be to call it a PLC 'light'. Programmable scales are used in many applications such as batching , labeling, filling, truck scales and more. No longer are the days where a scale has to takl to a PC to do anything. The PC has been brought to the scale.
