Pro Wrestling X (PWX) is a professional wrestling video game currently in development for Microsoft Windows. It is being created by WishboneX Creations, a new developmental studio based in Canada, in conjunction with consumer group Wrestling Gamers United. It is billed as being "by wrestling gamers, for wrestling gamers." The game began development in an official capacity in June 2006 (with the opening of the developer's Vancouver-based studio), and is in the process of being shopped around to prospective publishers. In June 2007, the monthly print magazine Tips and Tricks featured PWX in a two-page article.

In October 2007, it was officially announced that an early build of the game will be offered at a budget price of $14.99 US ($10.99 through pre-order). The name of this game will be PWX:Uprising. The game will include at least eight playable characters and offer one-on-one matches. This release is being done to help generate funds to further develop the final game. Purchase of the game will allow players to access the official development zone of PWX where their advice and concerns will help to shape the final version of PWX. A free demo of Uprising will also be made available in the coming months which will offer only two playable characters and one-on-one matches only.

Free give-away of PWX: Uprising has been considered but a decision is yet to be reached.
