Pro (born Derek Laurence Johnson Jr. in Pontiac, Michigan on December 16, 1983) is a rapper who is mostly know for his diverse music [1]. Pro graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science, in Recording Industry Management.[2]. Pro is short for prodigal. He shortened his name to Pro so he wouldn't be confused with other Prodigals in the hip hop/christian hip hop world.
