Hey, what kind of browser do you use? --Chetblongtalk to me 17:37, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Good, then I recommend that you use twinkle, it will help you to revert vandalism and warn vandals. I looked at your edits an you are reverting vandalism well, but it would help if, when you warn the vandal, you would put the name of the article the person vandalized, Twinkle will help you do that. Click here to find out how to install Twinkle and use it. --Chetblongtalk to me 17:45, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for your help!
Thanks for fighting vandlism on Wikipedia! It has been brought to my attention that you have been trying to block users. YOu can not block useres unless yo are an admin. To get an admins intervention go to wp:aiv and report it there! Thanks! Jayson (talk) 03:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your VandalProof Application
Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Printer222. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 14:44, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] McLeod's Daughters
Hey, neither Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/McLeods Daughters - The First Season nor McLeods Daughters - The First Season even exist. I deleted your edit to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2008 March 25. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah sorry about that, i realised it straight after i did it and went to fix it up straight away., i had the wrong title copied because i was looking to make sure that article i listed didn't exist and then i forgot to copy the actual article that i wanted listed so i ended up pasting the wrong article (did that make sense?). Any how it's all fixed now, thanks for letting me know! Cheers Printer222 (talk) 15:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I didn't know whether you were anticipating its creation or what. Thanks for clarifying! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Trent armstrong
Hi Printer222,
Regarding your question, the copy-and-paste move can, in some cases, be considered a form of vandalism in that it constitutes a blatant hoax/misinformation and breaks the licensing requirements of Wikipedia. So in the future, you can go ahead and tag the more blatant violations with WP:CSD#G3, which I used when deleting this article.
Thanks for the hard work! --jonny-mt 06:36, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Home and away character pages that have been deleted- issues
Deleted again. I have also salted for a month given the 8 recreations since the end of March. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 08:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
I thought I'd consolidate the whole Home and Away character issue by using redirects for nn characters. Bold? - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:31, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of new stubs
Hi. You recently requested a speedy deletion for Korean immigration to Hawaii with a rationale of CSD A1, a short article lacking context.[1] You made this request approximately one minute after a new editor[2] created this article[3] at my request,[4] and you left him a warning on his talk page.[5] First, the article did not meet CSD A1, and while it was certainly short (having been created as a stub less than a minute before you tagged it), the content was clear and in context of the subject, a subject which is entirely notable, encyclopedic, and supported by dozens of books and hundreds of academic articles. I would ask at this time that you refrain from tagging any and all new articles for speedy deletion until you become more familiar with the process. Instead of tagging new articles for speedy, please try to help copy edit and expand them first; you could just as easily have fixed the formatting, added a hawaii stub message, categories, and helped expand the article. That you chose to delete a legitimate article without first helping to improve it, raises concerns about your editing. Viriditas (talk) 11:59, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- When i first reviewed the article in question i had no idea what the significance of the topic was, and to me it did not make sense, you are right, i should have given the editor time to expand on it but it's not like i went out to intentionally cause harm
I am sorry if i made a judgment error however we all make mistakes from time to time, its part of being human. First of all i have made heaps of speedy deletion requests that have been valid.
Secondly the fact that made a judgment error for 1 article and you have concerns over my editing ability is offensive. Thirdly i would invite you to read Wikipedia:Assume good faith, the fact that you have reacted in such an nonconstructive way gives me doubts about your ability to handle and communicate to other editors, a skill that is vital when it comes to the wikipedia project, as it is a team effort, not an individual effort. Next time you deal with this type of case again, i would recommend that you leave a friendly message not a message that comes across as offensive. That would be more constructive.
The speedy deletion process is setup so that in the case a judgment of error is made the page will not be deleted. All speedy delete cases are reviewed by an Admin, so if a mistake is made no harm really is done I don't know how up to date you are with the deletion process so i would invite you to read up and review WP:DEL#REASON
I will not be abiding your request to cease tagging articles for speedy deletion, however i will make sure in the future that when necessary time is given to expand on an article before i tag an article. Remember to try and assume good faith Printer222 (talk) 12:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- I'm sorry you find my concerns "offensive", but if you wish to become an administrator, you will have to learn to take constructive criticism. You claim that I have assumed bad faith, but I have merely restated the facts of the matter and made a suggestion about how you can improve your editing. Since you don't seem to value my input, there's nothing more I can do except bring this to AN/I the next time it happens. Viriditas (talk) 12:34, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- I do value your impact and i do than you for bringing this to my attention. If had not alerted me to this i would have never known and would not been able to learn from my mistakes.

It may not have been your intention but your message came across aggressively and i took offense to it and reacted to it, my message probably caused offense to you, and for this i am sorry. Lets just put it down to a case of mis-interpretation and lets move on. Printer222 (talk) 12:43, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- No worries. How could my message have been better addressed? I'm always looking to improve. I saw the problem, gave you diffs, made suggestions, and raised concerns. Perhaps I could have eliminated the last part? Would that have helped? Viriditas (talk) 12:45, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- The whole second part if what kind of tipped me over the edge. [quote] I would ask at this time that you refrain from tagging any and all new articles for speedy deletion until you become more familiar with the process. - It may not have been your intention but it made me fell that because i made 1 judgment error you thought that you had the right to tell me what to do. Instead of typing 'please try' you could have written something like 'you might find it helpful if you tried to copy edit....' that way i would have thought you were trying to give me advice, not telling me what to do. And i don't think there was a need to ask me to refrain from adding speedy delete tags, like i said it was 1 simple judgment error, people do make mistakes. likewise i found it offensive that because i made 1 mistake you then questioned my editing abilities, after all the constructive edits i have made, it just made me fell worthless. But once again its up to ones interpretation, maybe i'm half to blame for interpreting it the wrong way. The first half of the message was fine as you were just detailing what you were talking about. I hope you do find this constructive, i'm now just trying to help you. Cheers Printer222 (talk) 12:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Editor Review
You will recall that we had quite a lengthy discussion the other day about a mistake i had made. We did disagree but in the end of the day i thought we had sorted things out. You gave me feedback and i took this feedback on and i stated this to you. The aim of an editor review is to provide feedback to an editor. So my question is, what was the point of you brining up this subject on my editor review (which purpose is to give me feedback) when you had already given me feedback and i took this on?? I did say that we should move on, but it seems that you didn't want to move on! Printer222 (talk) 11:17, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- I added the comments to the editor review three minutes after[6] I made my initial post to your talk page.[7]. You didn't even respond until 35 minutes after I had posted to your talk page[8] so your allegation is unfounded. If you would like me to give you a more balanced editor review, I would be happy to do so. Let me know. Viriditas (talk) 01:03, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Butterfly cat
Hi there. I removed your addition of the butterfly swimmers cat to various articles. This is because under Wikipedia guidelines, the article was already in "Australian butterfly swimmers", which is a subset of the fly swimmers cat. This is to prevent redudndant overcrowding of cats. Thanks, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:30, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Watch it
Careful with the reverting in the List of Armenian-Russians, it seems that BUTUSA is actually helping us. Channel ® 14:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- You might be right, but i reverted the edits because they removed a name from the list that is legit. So my first thought was that it was an account created by the vandals. I'll continue to watch it and observe what happens. Printer222 (talk) 14:11, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
