[edit] Hi!

Hi Kyle, it's Aparna! The above message (from Katr67) that you were telling me about is actually a default message, so it's nothing big. I'll try to help you out with the article, I'll just have to find some sources.

Nice job on your very first article! The AdventuressBlackPearl14 23:19, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I hope my welcome message didn't cause any concern. If I see new people editing articles that are on my watchlist (or here, which is where Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon popped up), I welcome them, that's all. And sometimes I can't help but do some clean up too. It's nothing personal. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. There is a very active group of us who edit articles about Oregon, feel free to join us! (I'll put the standard welcome message below.) And P.S. I replied to your note on my talk page. Oh, I didn't mean anything as a concern, Katr67. This user and I are colleagues outside of the cyberworld :) and he was telling me about your message, so I just briefed over it here (default, etc.). Sorry about the confusion! The AdventuressBlackPearl14 21:18, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to WikiProject Oregon! If you'd like, you can add the WP Oregon userbox to your user page using this code: {{User WikiProject Oregon}}. Check out the ongoing and archived discussions at WT:ORE and be sure to add the page to your Watchlist. If you are new to Wikipedia, it's a good idea to browse through the core principles of Wikipedia as well. The project home page at WP:ORE has many useful links to get you started. The recent changes and recent discussions links will display recent edits on articles within the project's scope. Welcome! —EncMstr (talk) 00:22, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, welcome! It's always good to have another set of eyes/typing fingers/etc. One other thing, we just started a blog for our project, another venue for discussion that's a little more outward-looking, and might be an easier way to get a feel for how we do things -- check it out! -Pete (talk) 00:35, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] A is for Apple at COTW

Hello again to those of the WikiProject we call Oregon. Time for another edition of Collaboration of the Week. Last week there was some good improvements to Music of Oregon and Phil Knight, great job everyone. This week, by request is the Applegate Trail, which is short enough to easily conjure up a DYK. Then, I’m trying something a little different, with the Portland State stuff. We included the two high profile schools during Civil War week last year, so now its time for the younger sibling that gets no respect to get some attention. After all, it is the largest college in the state. Feel free to help with whatever aspects you like, though to help with some ideas I added some to the article talk page. Click here to opt out of these messages, or click here to make a suggestion for a future COTW. Nana na na, hey hey hey, goouud byeeee. Aboutmovies (talk) 08:14, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
