[edit] EPs and Demos

Concerning EPs and Demos by Priscilla Ahn, three are known to be in existence.

Thinking Of You was a demo released in 2004 when Priscilla Hartranft (as she was known at the time) was still playing in the Berks County area at coffee houses and open mics.

I remember her having a website, www.priscillarocks.com that has been down since 2005. However, archive.org has a solution:

http://web.archive.org/web/20040807064021/www.priscillarocks.com/multimedia.htm This page provides proof of the existence of the Thinking of You demo. Also, it seems that there is an even earlier demo from 2002.

"Live at the Hotel" is a release I spotted advertised on Priscilla's Myspace a few years ago. It is a live recording of a performance of hers at the Hotel Cafe and the only other release I have aside from the "Thinking of You" demo.

Are any of these really notable in any way? --Orange Mike | Talk 14:54, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

According to WP:MUSIC, Priscilla Ahn seems to satisfy the general notability guidelines in the following criteria:

1. It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable.

Several articles, some of them trivial (An album release date), some of them not (Coverage on Priscilla Ahn's appearance on Jay Leno) on Filter Magazine's website, a featured article on Paste magazine.

10. Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, e.g. a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a compilation album, etc. (But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that article.)

Priscilla Ahn's music has appeared on Grey's Anatomy and the soundtrack to Disturbia. She also made television appearances on Last Call with Carson Daly and will appear on Jay Leno tonight.

I anticipate within a short amount of time from now that there might be more criteria of WP:MUSIC that she might meet, but I cannot use that as an argument.
