"According to royal sources, Queen Dzeliwe attempted a coup together with a certain Prince who is still alive today.[citation needed] She had no children, so her plan was to adopt the Prince so that she would automatically become the Indlovukazi and the adopted Prince the King. In order to make it all possible, she would have to keep crown Prince Makhosetive (King Mswati III) from ascending to the throne.
"The Prince who is also brother to king Mswati III was tasked to fly to the United Kingdom where the crown prince was attending to his studies. It was said that the prince was flying there to go pay a visit to the crown prince but it quickly turned out that the prince was going there to murder crown prince Makhosetive.[citation needed] The plan never fell through and immediately, Queen Ntombi Tfwala was installed regent and Dzeliwe placed under house arrest for high treason."
