[edit] Alberton/Roseville & Tignish/Palmer Road

The Liberal candidates for these Districts are Patrick Murphy (A/R) and Neil LeClair (T/R). GoodDay 20:11, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Was gonna add them, but someone beat me to it. Ah, great minds think alike. GoodDay 21:04, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Fools seldom differ. GreenJoe 22:29, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
OUCH!!. GoodDay 19:38, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ridings

I created the pages for the new/modified ridings, and added the current representative for each riding. Some have the term they served, some didn't. I don't have the information so I left it blank on most. If someone could add the terms, that'd be wonderful. Zygar2k6 22:27, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I'd suggest, that the new and old districts MLA lists be handled this way. Example- (after the election) the the Alberton-Miminegash article would end with Cletus Dunn, 2000-07 & Alberton-Roseville would begin with Cletus Dunn, 2007-present or Patrick Murphy, 2007-present, What ya'll think. GoodDay 19:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
It should be pointed out that, the Districts are yet to have an MLA. GoodDay 23:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

::I've made corrections at Alberton-Roseville and Tignish-Palmer Road. Similiar corrections, should be made at the other 25 Districts. GoodDay 20:08, 7 May 2007 (UTC):::I've corrected more, leaving the rest until 'we' decide on the correct appearance' GoodDay 20:48, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Timeline

Right now, the timeline is looking very biased towards to New Democrats. Maybe all party based announcements should be removed, and maybe keep it so only direct election announcements which are non-partisan are included. Zygar2k6 01:33, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Ahh, much better. Shouldn't raise any questions now. Thanks! Zygar2k6 01:29, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome, We should just take from the CBC site, or the Guardian? 70.54.3.87 00:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't think it's limited to just the CBC or the Guardian. Zygar2k6 19:36, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Districts

As today is 2007 PEI Election day, I've been going through other Districts of other provinces. The best thing to do is seperate a District from its past & present form. For example, the Alberton-Miminegash article should remain in existance, while Alberton-Roseville article should list 'only' the MLA elected in the 2007 PEI election. I'll be fixing the current Districts (1996-2007) MLA lists, to reflect this. GoodDay 17:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I've made changes to Alberton-Miminegash and Alberton-Roseville to show what I'm proposing. Also made a recomendation at Tignish-Palmer Road. All Districts need to be done over. What does everyone think? GoodDay 17:25, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I think the Summerside districts should stay the same, as their names are just reversed. -- Earl Andrew - talk 18:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Just be sure to mentioned the former District names. GoodDay 18:38, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Taken care of, I've re-directed St. Elanors-Summerside and Wilmot-Summerside to Summerside-St. Eleanors and Summerside-Wilmot, since they're the exact same districts. GoodDay 19:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

= Provisional results map

Map showing the provisional results as reported by the CBC at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:PEI2007.GIF

There's already a map! -- Earl Andrew - talk 02:51, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
The map that was already there seems to have been colour-coded wrong in a couple of cases. The one above is most up-to-date.
The one above is not even coloured. Please tell me where the image that on the page is wrong so that I may fix it. -- Earl Andrew - talk 02:54, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] End of an Era

I've no 'source' for this, but the Island is adopting 'fixed' elections. If so, the Premier will no longer be able to call an election, instead it will occur every 4 years (barring a non-confidence motion). Thus the next PEI provincinal election, will be scheduled to occur in May 2011. Perhpas this should be mentioned? GoodDay 21:58, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
