Talk:Pride family flag
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The purpose of adding the Pride Family Flag page was not to promote it as a business but to spread the word that this new flag exists. In my posting excitment I might have worded it badly and I apologize for that.
I am happy to remove any references to where the flag can be found or the web sites that are associated. But I would really like for this page to remain if possible. My partner and I are very involved in the non-profit LGBT community and it is our hope that this flag become a symbol of inclusion for LGBT families that feel is if their community has abandoned them.
The original Gay Pride Flag - the rainbow flag - symbolized the struggle that the LGBT community has faced throughout history. It stood for love and passion, the tragedy of AIDS, the hope for the future and for freedom to be who we are. The new Pride Family Flag symbolizes how far we have come in the struggle.
Please give me guidance to turn this page into the kind of page it needs to be for it to remain included in the Wikipedia encyclopedia.
Thank you.

- A noble goal. Unfortunately whether or not the page remains on wikipedia depends not on the nobility of the goal, but whether or not the subject meets WP criteria. Some pages you might want to review are: Wikipedia:Your first article, Wikipedia:Guide to writing better articles, and WP:NOTABILITY. Hope that helps.--Fabrictramp 17:43, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
