The Prix de Sandringham is a Group 2 flat horse race in France open to three-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at Chantilly Racecourse and takes place annually in late May or early June.
Originally the race was run at Longchamp as the Prix des Lilas. Prior to 1966 it was contested over a distance of 2,000 metres and served as a trial race for the Prix de Diane.
In 1972 it was run as the Coupe de Sa Majesté la Reine Elizabeth, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, who was attending the racing at Longchamp during a state visit to France. The following season the race adopted its present title, named after Sandringham, the location of the Royal Stud in Norfolk, England.
The race was first run at its present venue in 1977. It returned to Longchamp the following year before a more permanent move to Chantilly was made in 1979. The Prix de Sandringham was added to the Prix du Jockey Club fixture in 1989, since when both races have continually taken place on the same day. It was promoted to Group 2 level in 2001, having previously held Group 3 status.
