Prix de Pomone

The Prix de Pomone is a Group 2 flat horse race in France for three-year-old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. It is run over a distance of 2,500 metres (approximately 1 mile 4½ furlongs) at Deauville Racecourse in August.

It was first run in 1920 at a distance of 2,400 metres, which was increased to 2,600 metres in 1963, and to 2,700 metres in 1973. The present distance was set in 2004.
