Prix de Meautry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Prix de Meautry is a Group 3 flat horse race in France for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,200 metres (approximately 6 furlongs) at Deauville Racecourse in August.

It was first run in 1877 and is named after the nearby stud farm Haras de Meautry. With the exception of some wartime venue changes and abandonments, the race has remained at Deauville throughout its history.
