Prix de Lutèce
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Prix de Lutèce is a Group 3 flat horse race in France for three-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 3,000 metres (approximately 1 mile 7 furlongs) at Longchamp Racecourse in September.
The present version of the race was first run in 1978, although from 1864 to 1968 there had been a race by the same name but with different conditions. The current Prix de Lutèce has been run over the same distance at Longchamp throughout its history, and the leading participants often appear next in the Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak.
