Prix de Cabourg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Prix de Cabourg is a Group 3 flat horse race in France for two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,200 metres (approximately 6 furlongs) at Deauville Racecourse in late July or early August.
It was first run in 1921 and takes its name from Cabourg, a commune in the Calvados department of France. The race was not run from 1940 to 1945 due to World War II, but has otherwise remained at Deauville throughout its history.
It was elevated to its present Group 3 status in 1988.
