Prix Saint-Roman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Prix Saint-Roman was a Group 3 flat horse race in France for two-year-old thoroughbreds. It was contested annually in September, October or November.
In 1991 the race was transferred to Evry, having previously taken place at Longchamp. The distance of the race at both venues was 1,800 metres, which was cut to 1,600 metres when the race moved to Saint-Cloud in 1997. The following year the race was restricted to fillies, and it was run twice more before it was discontinued and replaced by the Prix Miesque in 2001.
