Prix Guillaume d'Ornano
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Prix Guillaume d'Ornano is a Group 2 flat horse race in France for three-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 2,000 metres (approximately 1 mile 2 furlongs) at Deauville Racecourse in August.
It was first run in 1952 as the Prix de la Côte Normande and was re-named in 1987 in memory of Comte Guillaume d'Ornano, a French racehorse owner/breeder who died two years earlier.
