The Prix Edmond Blanc is a Group 3 flat horse race in France open to four-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at Saint-Cloud Racecourse and takes place annually in late March or early April.
It was first run in 1921 and was named in memory of Edmond Blanc, the founder of Saint-Cloud Racecourse and a leading racehorse owner/breeder, who died the previous year.
The race was originally also open to three-year-olds, until it was restricted to four-year-olds and above in 1962. The present distance was introduced in 1954, prior to which it was run over 1,500 metres.
