Private Jets

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Private Jets is a power pop band from Sweden, founded in the year 2000 by twin brothers Erik Westin and Per Westin. Their debut EP “A Four Leaf Clover in E-Major” was released on May 27 in 2000 on Sparkplug Records. It contained four songs and was well received by the power pop community. The songs were written, arranged, performed and produced by the brothers. Lead vocals was provided by Janne Hellman on all tracks.

In a radio interview Erik Westin explained that the band were basically writing what they wanted to hear but couldn’t really seem to find anywhere. He also said that the ambition with the band is to write the ultimate pop song over and over again.

The band is currently working on a full length album called “Jet Sounds” which is set for release in the fall of 2007.
