Pritvinarayan (पृथ्वीनारायन) is a municipality in central Nepal created in 1996 out of the former town of Gorkha (गोरखा ). It is named after King Prithvi Naryan Sha, who was born in Gorkha and united and founded modern Nepal). The old royal palace (Gorkha Durbar) and Gorkha Kalika (temple of Goddess Kali) are the main attractions, the lower palace (tallo Durbar) and a modern Park are other meager attractions.

It is the beautiful hill station with the good fatalities and it is the main gate of the Ganesh Himal trekking root, also it is the main educational, health and transportation junction for the local people, Gorkha and Aap Pipal are two meager hospitals are serving people and Drbya Saha and Gorkha Multiple are the two meager campus.

Hotel Gorkha Resort and Shagrila View resort are best servicing hotel in the town.

Gorkha (palungtar) has a grass Airport (with irregular air service) for the land transportation from Bharatpur, Kathmandu, Pokhara (three major tourist destination of Nepal) and other parts of the country is very good, tourist and other bus, car and taxi serve people to go gorkha as weel.
