Priory Church in Wales School is a Medium Sized Primary School in Brecon, Wales, with around 130 pupils. Its musical reputation is esteemed, having recently sung as part of a musical in St David's Hall, Cardiff, as well as many performances in Brecon Cathedral.
Priory was founded in the late 19th Century, but it was not until the 1960s the school was called Priory School. Previously it had been Pendre.
The School Building many people now know of was built in 1975, but in 2007 this was demolished to make a place for the new modern school building, scheduled to be finished in 2009.
Priory School regularly submits entries to the Urdd Eisteddfod.
