Priority Academy is a program that created in 2006 by Standand Chartered Bank, Priority Academy programmes include a “Shanghai Learning Tour”, a “Summer Banking Knowledge Internship Programme” and a “Studying in the United States Seminar”, which provides all-rounded educational experiences to youth on leadership training, financial planning and personal lives. The program is well-known by donating $250000 to help Chan Yik Hei, a famous science amateur who won the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, on his studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
[edit] Shanghai Learning Tour
The Shanghai Learning Tour provides the winners of a test taken place around May to June to attend a special designed Studytour, including some of the places that is not opened to public in Shanghai. Ten students is chosen for 2006 and 2007 respectively.
[edit] Summer Banking Knowledge Internship Programme
The Summer Banking Knowledge Internship Programme is offered to the public. It is similar to the format of the day camp. Students will play simulation games in the program.
