Printronix is an independent supplier of line matrix printers and printers for bar code label printing. The company operates in 5 manufacturing facilities and has 17 sales and support locations that serve users in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. As a global company, Printronix has developed printers that offer languages to support its worldwide user base.

On October 2, 2007, it was announced that Vector Capital was acquiring Printronix for $108 million.[1]
