[edit] Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha
On 11 October 1905, at Glücksburg Castle, Holstein, she married Carl Eduard, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the only son of Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany and Princess Helena of Waldeck. Carl Eduard was born HRH Prince Charles Edward, Duke of Albany, a grandson of Queen Victoria. Victoria then assumed the title of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
