Princess Sikhanyiso

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Princess Sikhanyiso (b. circa 1987) is a daughter of King Mswati III of Swaziland, deemed to be rebellious against tradition, according to the rest of the royal family.[1]

Sikhanyiso wears Western-style jeans and miniskirts, something women are discouraged from doing.[citation needed] Before her father's 2005 Reed Dance ceremonies, Sikhanyiso held a party with loud music and alcohol at the Queen mother's residence. Her actions resulted in a beating with a stick.[2]

She is the first born daughter of 27 children born to King Mswati, her mother being King Mswati III's young love, Inkhosikati LaMbikiza (Sibonelo Mngomezulu). She has 200 aunts and uncles, not including their own spouses.[citation needed]

As of May 2008, she is currently a speech and drama major at Biola University in California.[3]
