Princess Mathilde Fund

The Princess Mathilde Fund is a Belgian foundation, named after Princess Mathilde of Belgium. The fund was created from the donations the princess received on her wedding with Prince Philippe, and is aimed towards the most vulnerable people in Belgian society.

Every year, since 2001 the Princess Mathilde Prize is awarded in order to support special initiatives, which seek to strengthen the position of people and groups in Belgium who, for whichever reason, are socially more vulnerable
