Princess Frederica Charlotte of Prussia (Frederica Charlotte Ulrika Katherine; 7 May 17676 August 1820) was the only daughter of Frederick William II of Prussia and his first wife and double first cousin Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Lüneburg. She was later The Duchess of York and Albany following her marriage to Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany.

Frederica Charlotte was born in Charlottenburg, on 7 May 1767.

[edit] Marriage

On 29 September 1791 at Charlottenburg Palace, she married Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany, the second son of George III and a cousin of hers. There was a second marriage at Buckingham Palace on 23 November. The new Duchess of York received an enthusiastic welcome in London, but the marriage was not a happy one, and the couple soon separated. They had no children.

She died, on 6 August 1820, in Oatlands Park, Weybridge, Surrey, England.
