Prince Kuni

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Japanese imperial title of Prince Kuni (jp: Kuni no miya) was given by the emperor to his male relatives.

The last carrier of this title was Prince Kuni Kuniyoshi's eldest son, Prince Kuni Asaakira (born 2 February 1902 - died 2 December 1959). He succeeded to the Kuni no miya title but lost his princely status as part of the reform of the imperial household during the American occupation in October 1947.
