Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark (born 29 October 1998) is the eldest son and second child of Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece. He is second in line, after his father, to the former throne of Greece. As a member of a deposed royal family who was born after his grandfather ceased to rule, his title of Prince of Greece is not recognized by the Greek Republic as the Greek Constitution does not recognise noble titles. Prince Constantine Alexios is also not a Greek citizen, as the Royal Family lost their citizenship following a referendum which abolished the Greek monarchy. His title of Prince of Denmark is recognised in Denmark, but when referenced, both titles are used.
His paternal grandparents are King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie, born a Princess of Denmark. His maternal grandparents are Robert and Chantal Miller.
He was born in New York City, New York, United States. He is considered heir to the defunct Greek throne after his father. He was christened at the Greek Cathedral of St. Sophia in Bayswater, London, England, on 15 April 1999. His godparents are Prince Nikolaos of Greece, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Prince Felipe of Spain, Prince William of Wales, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Princess Alexandra zu Fürstenberg, and Doris Robbs. Four of his godparents are future monarchs.
Prince Constantine Alexios has an elder sister, Princess Maria-Olympia as well as two younger brothers, Prince Achileas-Andreas and Prince Odysseas-Kimon.
