[edit] Summary

This screenshot shows a private message flood. Taken on Windows XP (in classic mode) in mIRC. (the network this was taken on was freenode) The clones here were made through tor.

[edit] Fair use rationale for IRC flood

  • I believe that it is fair to use this image in the IRC flood article:
    • To illustrate how a message flood can render the user interface of the client difficult to use.
    • In the absence of any free alternative. (note, that if anybody on a free <as in speech> client happens to be hit with a message flood, please upload a new screenshot to replace this)
    • For use in the free encyclopædia, Wikipedia, hosted by the non-profit Wikimedia foundation.
