[edit] Junaid Sheikh
A tag has been placed on Junaid Sheikh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GlassCobra 08:14, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Junaid Sheikh. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. It's fine if you want to contest the deletion, but leave the CSD where it is. GlassCobra 08:34, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy Deletion Notices
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices when you contest deletion. Instead add the {{hangon}} tag below the deletion notice. Thanks, Mickthefish 08:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Talk page comment
Your article has been tagged for deletion because it fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Also, parts of the article (particularly the first sentence) are not written from a neutral point of view, one of our central tenets. GlassCobra 08:48, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- If you want the article to be kept, you have to provide verifiable references from reliable sources to prove the subject's notability. GlassCobra 08:57, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- To be honest, images are not what the article needs yet. First you need to verify its notability. Please read the documents that I linked you to, and make changes accordingly. Also, make sure you add four tildes (~~~~) to your comments when you post on talk pages. GlassCobra 09:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
No, I didn't make those changes. That was another user, one whom I intend to ask why she removed the CSD tag. You may wish to consider removing the requests to refrain from editing your page, as I don't think you can save it from deletion without outside help. GlassCobra 09:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Junaid sheikh
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Junaid sheikh, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Junaid sheikh seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Junaid sheikh, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. CSDWarnBot 16:02, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- If you would like to contest the speedy deletion of Junaid sheikh, please leave a message on the article's Junaid sheikh|talk page explaining why you think it should be kept. Also, there is no need to blank discussion from your talk page. Thank you. BassoProfundo 17:57, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:4pd0to1.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:4pd0to1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:01, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
