[edit] "Blue Trilogy"

Well, anyone can say what they want on the Internet. Saying that one person's personal site represents a majority of fans is misrepresentative; we have no way of knowing if it's even true. (That pesky "reliable sources" thing.) If it gets picked up by a news site or a more vetted review, that would be best.

The whole "trivia" and "references to pop culture" should probably just be removed, actually; even if something may seem blatantly obvious, unless it's explicitly said (by interview or whatnot), it runs afoul of the original research policy to make the connection ourselves. (I'm too much of a chicken to do it myself.) TangentCube, Dialogues 02:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Well like I said I was only sourcing what was already on the artcile. I figured ANY source is better then no source. I say leave the trivia section there. The reason I was sourcing it, was so there was SOME merit to that trivia, now it looks like someone just made it up(but they didn't). Ah whatever. I'm posting this on you talk page to incase you don't see it here. - Prede (talk) 03:43, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Tien not Human?

I'll need to get back to you on that. Let me just clear up my watchlist k? BTW, I just remembered that User:Folken de Fanel claimed to have a copy of Daizenshū #7 in French. Perhaps he can check and see if the alien part is true. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:33, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok take your time. there's no rush. But now I'm starting to really doubt my sources. Perhaps there was like a tranlation error when they translated it into english? Or maybe he's just posting nonsense. I think Tein's probally human though... I doubt both sources would be wrong. Get back to me whenever you have time. - Prede (talk) 23:38, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Why don't you try asking Folken for now? He might give you the answer you need. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok I'll ask him. And I looked over the links that user posted. From what I can read it says things about him being an alien, but the forum link does question if the Daizenshū is 100% correct and say either the vidoe games or the Daizenshū made a HUGE error. - Prede (talk) 00:07, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Tintor2 asked a question here. Can you answer it? I don't know much about steampunk. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:33, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
I'd say use the newest version (Daizenshū #7), but cite what Daizenshū #4 said. Inclusively, my comments at the bottom here (which went unanswered) apply for Ten's page. You read it right? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:29, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
In a jiff k? Right now, it's watchlist time {^_^} Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:00, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] notice of ANI thread

Hi -- just wanted to let you know there's a thread on WP:ANI about you. Saxnot has accused you and Sesshomaru of vandalism and copyright violations. It looks like User:Saxnot was created by 195.23.133.162 who has a month-old dispute with you. -- Why Not A Duck 23:48, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fullmetal steampunk

Thanks. I think that may be added to the lead ("The story centers around a fictional universe in which alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques, resulting in different technological developments").Tintor2 (talk) 19:28, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok thank you very much. That settles the whole "steampunk" thing for me (at least). I am fine with that ^.^ - Prede (talk) 19:29, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Anita Hailey and Phantom Thief Kid

Thank you for your edits. You are welcome to be bold.--Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 01:28, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Ah no problem. Thanks for reconizing them ^.^ - Prede (talk) 01:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Re Conan movie 2: I don't have much time to do any heavy Wikipedia work, sorry. I'm in grad school now, and coursework is pretty busy, not to say I have a Conan wiki project on me.I would have more time to do after the end of this semester... --Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 03:40, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Case Closed Invention Fax Machine.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Case Closed Invention Fax Machine.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:24, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation to a new DC/CC wiki

Prede, as you may well aware, I planned on starting a Detective Conan wiki. Although short of a few things, most of the starting material are there-- I have the templates we would need to use and most DC/CC-related Wikipedia articles imported, so that we can start from that. Now I need peoplke who have experience on editing MediaWiki-based wikis-- such as Wikipedia--to help starting the wiki, and you certainly fit the bill. Would you want to join the project? (For an example of what I have done, read this article on Shinichi/Jimmy there.)

Since it is not yet officially open, opening user accounts in the wiki needs my personal approval. Please tell me if you want to join in me. --Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 22:11, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

I have opened an account for you (since currently only I have the right to):
username: Prede
password: all numbers from 1 to 8
I have also left a message at your talk on what to do on this stage.

[edit] The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok

I realize you have good intentions, but you can not use the plot summary on ANN to source anything on any anime/manga article. They are one of the only aspects of the site that can, and often is, not entirely accurate. The plot section needs no references at all. The character section needs to shortened down to just 1-3 brief sentences giving a simple, basic plot relevance overview of each character. Really, that section should be redone before attempting to source it, as it is kind of a mess right now and sourcing it as it is will likely result in some wasted effort. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 05:11, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok , whenever that section is shortened perhaps I'll look over it and soruce it. The spots I was sourceing were in my sources. I may have messed up the anime and manga parts (posted anime source for manga paqrt and manga source for anime part, I would have fixed it, but doesn't matter ). Sorry I messed it up, at least I tryed :( - Prede (talk) 05:15, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
No problem :) For future notes, as well, when we do reference character information, we generally start with the primary work (in this case, the manga), then note differences in other adaptations later. Meanwhile, I've alerted the project to the need for that article to be cleaned up, so hopefully our forming clean up task force will get to it relatively soon. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 05:24, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
