 Pretty Little Picture was a good article nominee, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There are suggestions below for improving the article. Once these are addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

I've had to put the article on hold, the following needs to be done-

  • Use the correct {{cite episode}} template for refs.
  • Find some web references to back up the statements.
  • Use {{cite web}} or {{cite news}} for these.
  • Remove the notes/trivia section ASAP and merge any noteable and sourceable content into an appropriate section of the article.
  • Delete the ejaculation note, this fails WP:POV.
  • All fair-use images should have the correct summary on the image page, see [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Applogo.JPG|here] for an example.
  • Delete all dead wikilinks.
  • Find sources for-
    • International Titles
    • Title reference
  • A "reception" section must be added. Include sourced ratings of the episode from different newspapers/noteable websites and possibly quotes. Some The Simpsons episodes have recieved GA or FA status when quoting the user scores from TV.com and IMDb. Although, this is not reccomended.
  • Change ""Pretty Little Picture" is the 3rd episode of the ABC television series, Desperate Housewives. The episode was the third episode for the show's first season." to ""Pretty Little Picture" is the 3rd episode of the first season of ABC television series, Desperate Housewives." This reads better.
  • Copy the Quotes section to a new page on Wikiquote, linking it from this article.

Image:Desp ep03.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
