[edit] Just for the sake of understanding

Generally someone who is unfamiliar with "presence information" will also be unfamiliar with a "presentity". It's like answering someone's query about the formation for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and saying, "Well, it's a sandwich with jelly and peanut butter."
