Can someone please help me with the layout of this page. I don't know how to get the images neatly into the paragraphs. I will add the text once the layout is fixed.

Already a vandal tried to speedy deletion on this. Jnumis 00:35, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sources

If you could give specific sources for each of the statements in the article, using proper footnote citations, it would do wonders for the "keepability" of this article. I have done simple Google searches and found much of the information on the article, so the sources should not be difficult to provide. If you have paper sources, they can be used as well, but equally properly cited.

To cite the we in footnote format, please place the following after each sentence/section/whatever that is being referenced:

<ref>{{cite web | url = | title = | accessdate = | accessdaymonth = | accessmonthday = | accessyear = | author = | last = | first = | authorlink = | coauthors = | date = | year = | month = | format = | work = | publisher = | pages = | language = | archiveurl = | archivedate = | quote = }}</ref>

Remove any non-needed sections (the majority, probably). If you want to cite the very same source for more than one fact, insert a ref name into the first <ref> tag like this: <ref name=Book1>, and then every time you want to use that same reference in the body of the article, you simply have to put <ref name=Book1 />. Finally, place <references /> in a References section at the bottom of the article. Lexicon (talk) 14:33, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Problems

There is a question that the statement that some of the coins that would be thought to be Sinhalese are actually Tamil is untrue. If you can back this claim up, please do. Proper references from the books would be good. Lexicon (talk) 15:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree with your new neutral title, Sri lankan coins were issued by all kinds of kings so no need to have a jaffna specific article. Thansk for taking on the task to fix this mess. RaveenS 16:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
