"Pretend" was announced as the second single from R&B singer Cheri Dennis' debut album In and Out of Love. The single was produced by Eric Hudson.

The single debuted pre-maturely at #116 along with "Ooh Ooh" on the week of March 22, 2008 following the album's release. It has yet to be released as of June 7, 2008.
The fate of her album is depended on this single. If this single doesn't do well, it is possible this may be the last single released off the album.
