Preston FM

Preston FM is a community radio station broadcasting on 87.9FM from its base on Glovers Court, Preston, UK. The next temporary broadcast runs from Monday 2nd June to Sunday 29th June 2008.
The station has broadcast previously on five one-month trials, in October 2005, March 2006, November 2006, May 2007 and November 2007. The community broadcaster, which is led by station manager Richard Lace, has recently been awarded a full-time community radio licence by UK regulator Ofcom[1], with full-time broadcasting planned to commence later in 2008. The station has been partly backed thanks to EU funding.
