Preston Crossing is a big box shopping area in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located at Preston Avenue North and Circle Drive and was the first major big box shopping area in Saskatoon, other than minor ones like River City Centre.

There are 11 big box stores at Preston Crossing. They are Old Navy[1], Michaels[2], Home Outfitters[3], Future Shop [4], Canadian Tire[5], Sobeys[6] (formerly Garden Market IGA), Pier 1 Imports[7], Shoppers Drug Mart[8], Mark's Work Wearhouse[9], PetSmart[10], Wal-Mart[11]

The two non-big box stores/services at Preston Crossing are Burger King[12] (currently the only restaurant at Preston Crossing other than any located in the main stores) and a Co-op Gas Station & Carwash.

On December 6, 2007, the City of Saskatoon approved the third phase of the big-box centre.

In Saskatoon, big box stores are controversial (especially Wal-Mart) because many people believe that more people will shop at big box stores than at local businesses. They are concerned about this because the money earned by big box stores goes to big corporations rather than local entrepreneurs. There is also concern about downtown businesses losing money because of people shopping at big box shopping centres instead.[citation needed]
